Donation Policy

1. Voluntary Donations

All donations made through Salawat Streak are entirely voluntary. By making a donation, you acknowledge that you are not purchasing any product, service, or entitlement, and that the donation is given freely to support the continued development and maintenance of the Salawat Streak platform.

2. Payment Processing

Donations are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your full card details on our servers. Stripe is PCI DSS compliant and uses industry-standard encryption. By donating, you agree to Stripe's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

3. Donation Types

  • One-time donations: a single charge is made at the time of your donation.
  • Monthly recurring donations: you will be charged on the same date each month. You may cancel at any time via your account settings or by contacting us.

4. How Donations Are Used

Donations are used to fund specific projects listed within the App. Each project description explains how the funds will be allocated. General donations may be used for:

  • Server infrastructure and hosting costs.
  • App development and maintenance.
  • Community features and new functionality.
  • Any other operational costs required to keep the Service running.

5. Refund Policy

Because donations are voluntary contributions rather than purchases, we generally do not offer refunds. However, we may issue a refund at our sole discretion in the following circumstances:

  • The donation was made in error (e.g., duplicate transaction or wrong amount).
  • A recurring donation was not cancelled in time before the billing date.
  • Technical errors resulting in an incorrect charge.

To request a refund, please contact us at support@salawatstreak.co.uk within 14 days of the transaction, including your email address and the transaction reference number.

6. Cancelling Recurring Donations

You may cancel a recurring donation at any time by contacting us at support@salawatstreak.co.uk. Cancellation will take effect before your next scheduled billing date.

7. Tax and Gift Aid

Salawat Streak is not a registered charity. Donations are not eligible for Gift Aid or tax deductions. Please consult a qualified tax adviser in your jurisdiction for guidance on the tax treatment of your donation.

8. Currency

All donations are processed in Pounds Sterling (GBP). If your payment card is denominated in another currency, your card issuer may apply a foreign exchange conversion fee.
